Abstract

The paper examines modern technologies for manufacturing decorative paving elements and analyzes the automation of technological equipment used in their production. Vibropressing technology is considered as the most efficient method for manufacturing small-sized concrete products. The structure of an automated production line, including raw material handling, component dosing, concrete mixing, vibropressing, product transportation, curing, and process monitoring, is substantiated. The application of programmable logic controllers (PLC), digital sensors, variable frequency drives, and SCADA systems for process control is analyzed. The advantages of integrated automation are identified, including increased productivity, improved product quality, reduced energy consumption, minimized human influence, and integration into digital manufacturing systems in accordance with the Industry 4.0 concept. Prospects for further development are associated with the implementation of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies, digital twins, and predictive maintenance systems.
