IMPROVEMENT OF THE DESIGN OF FREIGHT CARS BOGIES FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION

The development of international transport connections at the present stage requires not only the combination of transport networks of different states, but also ensuring the technical compatibility of rolling stock. This is especially relevant for domestic railway transport, because European railways, in addition to the difference in track, require a number of technical requirements for admission to the infrastructure. The author considered the possibility of improving the design of a two-axle bogie of a typical European design Y25 for freight cars and proposed design solutions that not only allow this bogie design to be used on tracks of different widths, but also allow significantly improving the dynamic qualities of freight cars with an improved bogie design. The results of the work have a practical focus and are proposed for use in operation on railway transport.
