The paper considers the development of a software system with an interactive virtual reality environment designed for performing school chemistry tasks. The main objective is to create a virtual laboratory that provides visual, safe, and interactive learning using modern VR technologies. Blender software is used for object modeling and optimization of graphical resources, enabling the creation of detailed 3D models of laboratory equipment while ensuring a stable frame rate in the VR environment. The choice of the Unity engine as the core development platform is substantiated. Interactive elements of the virtual laboratory have been implemented, which adequately respond to user actions and reproduce basic physicochemical processes. The result of the work is a prototype of a VR laboratory that allows users to interact with a virtual laboratory environment, perform educational experiments, and improve learning outcomes through the immersion effect. The proposed approach can be applied in distance learning systems and as a supporting tool in the educational process.
