Abstract

The paper considers the problem of increasing the efficiency of obtaining intermetallic compounds as promising materials for mechanical engineering. The features of their application, as well as the shortcomings of traditional manufacturing methods, are analyzed. The use of thermochemical pressing is proposed as an energy-efficient method of obtaining blanks of intermetallic compounds with predicted geometric parameters. The feasibility of determining the disintegration energy by the falling load method using a pendulum impact hammer is substantiated. The results obtained allow modeling grinding processes and reasonably selecting industrial equipment to achieve a given fraction of material.
