Abstract

The purpose of the discipline is to develop competencies: to present the results of their engineering activities in accordance with generally accepted norms and standards; ability to apply computer-aided design systems (CAD), engineering research (CAE) and specialized application software to solve engineering problems in applied mechanics; estimation of parameters of working capacity of materials, structures and machines in operational conditions and maintenance of a given level of reliability of structures and processes, including in the presence of some uncertainty; evaluation and quality assurance of work performed; knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity.
