Abstract

The presentation is devoted to the problem of determining the amount of liquid in an inclined tank and, in particular, to the task of converting the level and angle measurement data into the amount of liquid kept inside the tank. A universal solution to this problem has not yet been presented in the scientific and technical literature. A method based on Delaunay triangulation that allow to determine the amount of liquid is introduced. It is shown that this method is universal for practice and it has capacity to be automated. An algorithm and software that implemented the concept are described.
