Procedure for preparing and submitting a publication for publication

LIST OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

  1. Manuscript of the article in Ukrainian or English (10–20 pages in length).
  2. The number of authors of the article must not exceed five.
  3. An extended abstract and keywords in Ukrainian and English.
The extended abstract must be at least 1,800 characters in length. Structure of the abstract: title of the article, analysis of recent research and publications, aim of the study, presentation of the main research material, conclusions.
  4. Author details – in Ukrainian and English. These must be presented on a separate page at the end of the article and include: full surname and patronymic, position and organisation represented by the author, ORCID number (http://orcid.org/).
  5. Abstracts. These must be provided in two languages (Ukrainian and English) and placed on a separate page at the end of the article. The abstract should state the UDC code, followed on the next line by the authors’ full names and the title of the article. From the following line, a brief summary of the article should be provided, not exceeding 100 words. On a new line, the number of references and illustrations should be indicated.
  6. Example of a term paper.

Zelentsov D.G. New models for solving weight optimisation problems for corroding
compression members Various mathematical models for solving weight optimisation problems for beam structures subject to corrosion are considered. A new mathematical model for the optimisation of corroding beams is proposed. It involves solving the problem without taking the aggressive environment into account for a generalised objective function that includes the cross-sectional perimeter, followed by an increase in the optimal parameters by an amount that compensates for corrosion. The applicability of this model to beams with arbitrary cross-sectional shapes is demonstrated.
