Abstract

Regime factors leading to the failures of photovoltaic units of solar arrays and their components, as well as circuitry methods and means that allow solving the problems of ensuring their reliability are analyzed. Prospects for improving the efficiency of circuit methods of protection against electrical thermal overloads are pointed out, in particular, based on the use of new elements of protection against current overloads on the basis of carbon-polymer self-resetting fuses.
