Abstract

This article deals with the mathematical and computer simulations of hydrodynamic processes in a multiphase environment of the converter during the lining repair by the inflating of prepared final slag. On the basis of the analysis and theoretical generalization of existing methods of modeling of the gas-liquid environment in the case of free phase boundary, the mathematical model of the process of inflating of the slag skull with using a double row tuyere has been developed and a numerical study of the interaction of the gas jet with the melt at different purging parameters has been carried out.
